Tyre Advice

In the UK it is a legal requirement to ensure that your car is fitted with the correct tyre type and size. At Autolube Letchworth we have all the latest equipment to ensure that our tyres and correctly fitted as per the manufacturer’s specifications.

We will also check the depth of the tread on your tyres, and will notify you if the tread depth of your tyre fall below the minimum legal depth of 1.6mm. It is wise to replace tyres before they hit this limit, as aside from becoming unsafe to drive, it can also lead to points on your license and a £2500 fine for each tyre that is below the minimum legal standard.
